Maurice Acker is an American professional basketball player from Chicago, Illinois. He started his college career at Ball State University and was the awarded Freshman of the Year. He finished the rest of his college career as a stand out player for Marquette University. He ranks fourth all-time at MU in 3-point field goal percentage (.416).
He has spent the last 11 years playing in multiple top leagues in Europe. 6 of the 11 years he played in both Pro A and Pro B in France. Winning a Pro B Championship in 2016.
Maurice Acker has participated in The Basketball Tournament as apart of the Golden Eagles Alumni team for the last 6 years. Winning the championship in 2020.
Acker is currently on the coaching staff at Windermere Prep. He is the Head Coach of the 7th grade team. He is also assistant coach at the post grad school of US prep.
